What is the best style holster for concealed carry on a motorcycle?

as long as ur not a registered terrorist they will help u find somethin u like that is comfortable, hidden, and not cincidered concealed to the cops so u dont get arrested for having a concealed weapon

Get a webbing based underarm holster. Not that you'll have an accident, but that keeps the gun away from your spine and groin in a wreck, and keeps it in a spot where it can be easily accessed and unlikely to discharge.

Considering it is a Glock 30 an ankle holster is out. wearing a shoulder holster could hamper your driving. I'd say stash it in one of your bikes compartments. Only logical chose.

i use a shoulder holster they are the best,the under the belt ones are very uncomfortable,and the boot ones leave a mark on your leg,the shoulder holster works well,i use 380 and its pretty comfortable,after while you wont even know its there and it hides easy,it will make small bulk but not bad,we ride in a group when we go out and no one notices what we have,good luck.

I vote for the Inside the Waistband Paddle holster. It is usually positioned behind the hip,, so it does not show (or "print:).
But it can be quite painful if you take an unauthorized excursion, away from your wheels suddenly, If you are in a hurry try a premade cowhide holster, You need a stiff belt, to keep it from rolling out of your waistband, and dumping it in the street, though.
A Galco/Jackass Leather shoulder holster is fine for wear under a jacket if you can stand to wear a jacket 12 months of the year.

Comp-Tac holsters are nice. An in-the-waist holster with double belt clips will keep your gun secured and concealed under your shirt or riding jacket.

I carry a S&W 40 Cal in a sholder rig-Or inside jacket pocket
If a place dont feel or look right its in my waistband but not to carry on the scooter

I would use a cross draw holster. Put it on the left side and wear your shirt pulled over it. Otherwise it would be a shoulder model. If you have CCW permit you can put it anywhere it won't be seen (in my state). Our permits are concealed carry only.

short answer, you cant carry a glock 30 concealed while riding a sport bike.
its just too thick. a fanny pack is about it for a glock 30.
smiti has it right. get one of those mesh sleeveless t shirt type things with a high under arm pocket & carry something thin like a kel tec p3at or ruger lcp & wear a loose t shirt over it.
an inside the waistband or small of the back holster will stick up like a flag pole when your bent over on a sport bike & do some serious damage to your body if you get knocked off & roll a half a block or so.
best to forget about your primary & just carry your back up when riding.

I'm a cop and I carry my snubnose .38 in my zippered up and velcro shut motorcycle jacket pocket. Yeah I know its just a 5 shot, but when I'm out and about I'm not looking into getting into a major gun battle! I considered waistband holsters, but I didn't feel they would be secure enough for my gun. I prefer my Glock .23, which is a compact version of the standard Glock. I have an IWB holster for that, but not when I am riding, I think it would be too uncomfortable. If I were you, I'd carry in a thumb break holster, velcroed inside of a tank bag. Its easy access, and secure! When you get off the bike you can sling the bag over your shoulder.

Learn to shoot left handed and you won't have to get off the throttle when you have to use your piece. The nylon rigs with a belt loop and a strong safety strap are the most comfortable. Make sure the shoulder straps are at least 11/2 to 2 inches wide. Otherwise after a hundred miles or so they chafe. Also practice drawing, until it becomes second nature to you. This may take several weeks. Good hunting!!
