What a good motorcycle bike for beginners?
Posted by admin | Under Motorcycle Bikes Tuesday Mar 31, 2009i want one but dont know which one is best for me. I like how the 2009 kawasaki ninja look it 250cc, i dont know if that to powerfull for me….what suggestion can u give
The 250cc is a good starter bike. If you want a 250cc bike to start try to find a used one. Don't blow all your cash on a new one. I had one for 6 months and found out real quick it was too small, and sold it in February 2009. If I had known then what I know now I would have got a 500cc to 650cc from the start. The 250cc had a hard time keeping up at any speed above 60 MPH.

any bike that is about 250cc is good.

Depends on you. What type of bike do you want? Ninja 250 is a good bike. I had an 06 250 for 2 years and rode the snot out of it. It is very capable, and capable to get you in trouble. You could start on a 600cc and be fine. The power is controlled by your right wrist. Whatever you get be safe and wear gear.
Bigger bikes also come with bigger insurance premiums. What can you afford?

250 is definitely not too big for you. I have heard as long as you start on something 600cc or under you will be alright. the problem with the 250 is that it is too small for most. great to learn on, but after a few months you want more power and sell the bike to get a bigger one. So buying a 250 ninja that went from 3500 in 2008 to 4000 in2009 (only because of a different paint scheme????) just to sell it in a few months doesnt make a whole lot of sense. but you gotta get a bike that fits you. other bikes to consider Suzuki SV650 or GS500F, honda cbr (preferably in the early 2000 years), Kawasaki Ninja 500, zx6 (early 2000's for this one too), or yamaha YZF600R. make sure you look around though.
