I think you’d have some trouble reaching the ground on it. My friend up in Canada sat on one of these a while ago and reported that when you’re sitting it it, it’s taller than my 1982 Husky 250 – which is an extremely tall bike, itself. I’m about 6’2″ and it feels about right for me, but I would be hesitant at 5’6″. Here’s a video of me starting the bike, for perspective.

It’s ultimately up to you. I recommend going to your local dealer and sitting on one yourself.

I’d probably roll with a 150sx if you’re getting a brand new bike, if not, I’d go with any YZ125 or 144sx. I’ve had lots of experience with 03 and older YZ’s and they’re extremely well built bikes. My dad’s lasted 9 years before it needed a top end. You could always go 250f, but that’ll just cost you more money in the end so I’d stick with a 2t

300 Fails at MX – Soft Suspension
200 feels and HANDLES like a 125 on steroids with BONUS TORQUE
250=Revy & feels like a super charged 200 & handles like a 250
300 feels and handles like a big bike with big power
200 has a LOT more power and torque than a 125 but feels like a 125
250 & 300 feels bigger and heavier than a 200
