The marauder is a v-twin cruiser which does not have a pressurized intake. The stock airbox can be replaced with an open element that will give more flow. Some rejetting will be needed. The downside is that the open element filter can get waterlogged in rain.

the stock pressurized intake will, in most cases, give you a better performing bike than a free flow intake. I have been noticing better numbers at the drag strip with bikes who have either stock or mildly modified pressurized intake boxes. don't know why, but they are getting better numbers.

its not going to do you anygood without changing other parts,they are built at the factory to run the best all round way there is,if you change one thing you are asking for trouble somewhere down the line,it took me 40 years to find this out,spent much $$$$$ on after market pipes and etc,it may give you a little boost at some rpm but will take away somewhere else,you have probaly seen where pipes give you more horse power,wrong,its is the weight you remove when you remove the stock system,each 14 pounds equals 1 horsepower

less restriction at the intake without changing your exhaust isnt going to do much.Im sure that kuryakin makes one for that bike or you could just get a velocity stack.not going to get better mileage from it though.
