Buddy wants to improve power on a Baja Phoenix 250 motorcycle. Any clue where to get aftermarket parts?
Posted by admin | Under Motorcycle Aftermarket Monday Jul 6, 2009A buddy got a new bike and wants more power and I can’t find parts anywhere on the net. Any one know where I can find them, particularly carbs, pipes and big bore kits? Thanks.
Thanks Steve. I have been finding the same kind of stuff. I have all kinds of rescources for my little chinese scooters I like to tweek up but the Baja is killing me. Like I said though, it is a buddies bike and he just wants bolt ons. I would not be able to justify breaking the engine down for an extra 5 MPH.
Check out the links below, but I would say there probably aren’t any. There’s nothing to stop you going to a custom pipe maker for pipes, but other than that, all you can do is the standard 4-stroke stuff; plane the head, grind the cam, port-&-polish etc. Probably not worth it, though.
