honda cub 90..so reliable, cheap and small to zip in and around traffic. the delivery box can be bought from a dealership and fitted either by them or yourselves..its really not hard

You will have to have a special clause in the insurance certificate because it will be used as a courier bike.
Get a smart one – keep it clean (impressions count) and all road legal and tell your insurance broker what it is being used for and who will be riding it too.

You will get sick of shifting, so, get a Honda Automatic DN-01. They started importing them to the US in ’09, so you can get a used one and save$$. To fit the bag, take it to a custom bike shop or a welder. I’m trying to make a hack for my ‘sickle to fit my dog:

Other than that, a big, automatic scooter. Or some medoiium sized bike and water cooled, shaft drive, like a Honda Silver Wing. W/C doesn’t heat up as much in traffic.

Harley used to make a three wheeler just for this purpose, the Servi-Car: A bix box on it, a 45 cubic inch, got good mileage, and Harley’s most reliable engine, later ones had electric start; but that was a while back. EDIT: Urals are Very Classy, I dig them, too, But Expen$ive. The sidecars, alone, cost as much as a good new Jap bike. You’re lucky to see a beat up ‘ 09 for $3500. And, that’s in North Highlands, TX. They cost almost as much as Harley’s. May as well have a small car, that exdtra $3,000 buys a lot of gas.

A Ural with a sidecar. Installed warming-box in sidecar or if you make pizza a propane fired oven to bake it on the go.

Added- In many places a motorcycle with an affixed sidecar is a three wheeler and put in the Automotive Class for insurance and driver licensing reasons. A blanket insurance policy will not cover all employees on a two-wheeled vehicle so a separate policy will need to be placed on each, expensive.
The bike is a business machine, a write-off.
