Clymer didn’t have to go far to attend the Heart Of America Motorcycle Enthusiasts club 18th Annual Vintage Motorcycle Show. Classic vintage antique motorcycles motorcycle bikes British, German, Japanese, Italian, European, American motorcycles were all on display. Manufacturers on display included Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW, Harley Davidson, Vincent, Triumph, BSA, Norton, Brough Superior, Lawrence of Arabia, T.E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom, Jay Leno, Leno has nothing on us, we love you Jay, Leno’s Garage, Indian, Cushman, Vespa, Laverda, Puch, Lambretta, MV Augusta, Ducati, Matchless, Zundapp, Moto Guzzi AJS and more. There were 100% perfect restorations,bike ridden in, and a trailer queens ( not size queens go to craigslist for that ) full-on customs, cafe racers, choppers, bobbers, trials bikes, dirt bikes, road racers…any type or style motorcycle you could image.
The show was held at the Kansas City Airline History Museum http://www.airlinehistorymuseum.com at the Kansas City Downtown Airport. Inside the huge hangar were two classic vintage antique passenger airplanes planes: a Douglas DC-3 and a Martin 404. Right outside the hangar was a 1958 Super Constellation, or Super Connie.

I looked at the incoming video on that site which is certanly the same bike on the same day. It appears to be a Buell X1 from say 1999-2002. Great naked sportbike with a great sound. Pretty modern bike handling wise and has fuel injection – but still has the retro standard appearance.
I love the minimalist look and streetfighter attitude. I have a honda 919, same concept, looks old but is new. I like the buell sound better. Now I want one – any one want a near perfect 919?

It all comes to wether you like more classic style British bike or a more modern looking Italian bike.
I just bought my ’08 Bonnie about 5 months ago and am very happy with it. Handles like a dream and so easy to manouver. It is a chain drive so I added one extra tooth to the drive (front) sprocket by changing it to get a smoother cruising speed (over 70-80mph).
I also changed the exhaust and removed the airbox to get more power and of course a better sound. I love the way the bike sounds now Even Harley riders look at me and smile with envy The Bonnie has a very original and unique sound just like Harley…
I have a 1983 honda sabre 750 and I would like to find a service manual and maybe some history on the bike I don’t know anything about them and would like to learn as much as I possibly can.
